  • Used MS Word, Canva, and Adobe Acrobat to write, edit, design,
    and format 173-page guided journal, which included original
    writing prompts, self-assessment exercises, personalized prayers
    and notes, and workbook-style topical studies, for December 2022 print production.

  • Oversaw publishing and dissemination process by obtaining proper ISBN numbers and official U.S. ISBN Agency at Bowker registration and managed product inventory and distribution via Shopify, Square, and Amazon eCommerce platforms.

  • Communicated with various printing companies in U.S., China,
    and India to secure high-quality, affordable printing for hardcover, wire-bound journals.

  • Wrote, edited, and designed visuals and copy for journal launch campaign via social media and newsletter.

Social Media, Graphic Design & Content Creation:

  • Weekly write, edit, and publish relevant, engaging blog posts (typically 600+ words) about spirituality, black community, and women’s and minority issues for promotion on company website, newsletter, and social media channels.

Editorial Tradecraft:

  • Daily used Microsoft Word to edit, format, and disseminate
    hundreds of Finished Intelligence products—including complex multimedia graphics, dynamic PDFs, interactive visuals, and
    multi-page assessments for high-priority Intelligence Community
    and US Government customers and publication to the CIA World Intelligence Review (WIRe).

  • Applied Directorate of Analysis (DA) Style, branding, and
    general editorial tradecraft to support DA mission in producing
    all-source analysis.

Project Management:

  • Co-led overall production and publication process for hundreds of various products in support of the 2020 World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.

  • Managed publication of six multifaceted briefing books and primers, each complete with numerous detailed graphics and map visuals, and more than a hundred source references.

  • Oversaw production planning meetings and timeline creation and regularly communicated project statuses with various stakeholders and team members.

  • Partnered with Imaging and Publishing Support (IPS) to ensure accuracy in printed products. Coordinated post-mortem project sessions with team members and management to discuss best practices and improvement areas for future tasks.
